“Something's off and we don't know what.”
The Trust Audit
A fixed-scope review of your numbers against the systems they came from. You get a findings report a human stands behind: what holds up, what does not, and what it takes to fix. If nothing is broken, we will tell you that too.
Who it's for
You suspect a number is wrong. You can't prove which one.
Maybe two reports disagree and nobody can say which one is right. Maybe the margin looks healthier than the bank account does. Maybe you are about to raise, sell, or make a large bet, and you want someone outside the building to check the numbers first.
The Trust Audit is deliberately small and deliberately finite. It is not a rebuild, and it is not a sales call in disguise. It is a fixed-scope review that ends in a written answer.
What we do
Trace the numbers back to where they came from.
Agree the short list
We pick the handful of numbers the business actually runs on. Revenue, margin, pipeline, utilization, whatever yours are. A focused list beats a survey of everything.
Follow each one to its source
For every number on the list we trace the path from the screen you read back to the system that produced it, and write down exactly where the logic lives at each hop.
Reconcile it and stress it
We compare the reported figure against the source system, check how it behaves at the edges, and look for definitions that quietly differ between two places.
Write it down and stand behind it
You get a findings report with a person's name on it: what holds up, what does not, how far off it is, and what it would take to fix each item.
What you get
A written answer, not an impression.
The findings report
Every number reviewed, its verdict, and the evidence behind that verdict, in plain language you could hand to a lender or a board.
Reconciliation notes
For each item, the path we followed and the comparison we ran, so anyone technical on your side can check our work.
A ranked fix list
What to repair first, ordered by what it costs you to leave it broken rather than by what is easiest for us to sell.
The honest part
If nothing's broken, that's the finding.
An audit that always discovers an expensive problem is not an audit. Sometimes the numbers hold up, and the real answer is that you can trust what you already have. That is a legitimate result and you will get it in writing.
When the audit does turn up something structural, the fix is usually the layer underneath rather than the dashboard on top. That is what BI Rescue is for, and the audit becomes the scope for it.
What it costs
Fixed scope, fixed price, finite.
The Trust Audit is a fixed-price engagement against a scope agreed before it starts, sized to the short list of numbers we review. It ends with the report. There is no obligation to do anything else afterward, and the findings are yours either way.
